BabySnap Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 20, 2026
BabySnap is designed as a local-first tool for parents and guardians to create and save baby milestone photos. The current release does not require an account, does not upload baby photos to our servers, and does not include advertising or analytics SDKs.
1. Who We Are
BabySnap is operated by:
- Developer / company name: 霸州市蓝媒文化传媒有限公司
- Contact email: support@bluebabystudio.com
2. Summary
BabySnap is built to keep your family memories private by default.
- BabySnap does not require an account.
- BabySnap stores baby profiles, avatars, and timeline entries locally on your device.
- BabySnap does not upload your baby photos to our servers.
- BabySnap does not sell your baby photos or baby profile information.
- BabySnap does not include advertising in the current release.
- BabySnap does not use analytics or tracking SDKs in the current release.
3. Information You Provide
BabySnap may store the following information locally on your device:
- Baby name
- Birthday
- Gender selection
- Avatar image selected by you
- Watermarked photos created by you
- Timeline entries for saved memories
This information is used only to provide app features such as age calculation, watermark generation, profile display, and the local growth timeline.
4. Photos and Media
BabySnap accesses photos and media only when you choose to use a feature that requires them.
Camera
If you choose to take a photo, BabySnap asks for camera access. Camera access is used only to capture the photo you request.
Photo Library / Photo Picker
If you choose a photo or avatar from your device, BabySnap opens the system photo picker or photo selection flow. BabySnap is intended to work with user-selected photos and does not scan your photo library.
Saving to Photos / Gallery
If you choose to save a watermarked photo, BabySnap saves the image you created to your device's Photos or Gallery.
5. Local Storage
BabySnap stores app data locally on your device using device storage. This may include profile information, avatar files, and watermarked timeline photos.
If you delete the app, your locally stored BabySnap data may be deleted by the operating system. If you delete individual timeline entries or profiles inside the app, BabySnap attempts to remove the related local files.
BabySnap currently does not provide cloud backup or cross-device sync.
6. Data We Do Not Collect
In the current release, BabySnap does not collect:
- Account login information
- Email address or phone number
- Precise location
- Contacts
- Microphone recordings
- Advertising identifiers
- Baby photo contents on a remote server
- Baby names or birthdays on a remote server
7. Sharing and Selling Data
BabySnap does not sell your personal information.
BabySnap does not share your baby photos with third parties from within the app. If a future version adds sharing, backup, analytics, or cloud features, this Privacy Policy must be updated before those features are released.
8. Children and Families
BabySnap is intended for use by parents or guardians. It is not intended to be used directly by children, and it does not ask children to provide personal information.
Parents and guardians are responsible for choosing what information and photos they enter into the app.
9. App Permissions
BabySnap requests permissions only when needed for user-triggered features:
| Permission | Why it is used |
|---|---|
| Camera | To take a photo when you choose the camera feature. |
| Photo library / photo picker | To let you choose a baby photo or avatar. |
| Add/save to Photos or Gallery | To save watermarked photos you create. |
You can manage permissions in your device settings.
10. Data Retention and Deletion
Because BabySnap stores data locally by default, most app data remains on your device until you delete it.
You can delete profile data and timeline entries inside the app. You can also delete the app from your device to remove app data managed by the operating system.
Photos saved to your system Photos or Gallery may remain there until you delete them from the Photos or Gallery app.
11. Security
BabySnap uses local device storage for app data. No method of storage is perfectly secure, but BabySnap reduces privacy risk by avoiding account systems, remote photo upload, advertising SDKs, and tracking SDKs in the current release.
12. International Users
BabySnap may be available in different countries or regions. Because the current release is local-first and does not upload baby photos to our servers, most app data remains under the control of the device and operating system.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when BabySnap changes. If we add features such as cloud backup, account login, analytics, advertising, AI processing, or family sharing, this policy must be updated to explain those changes before release.
